ABOUT MEBP

MEBP is a non-profit organization that was founded as a result of the need to promote education and seek global advancement for the Eket women. 

In 2012, the maiden edition of the Miss Ekid Beauty Pageant was launched and 10 girls competed for the title in 2012. The show over the years has attracted many big names in the entertainment industry and dignitaries from the State and the Nigerian Government.

I wish to introduce to you the 3rd annual MISS EKET BEAUTY PAGEANT (MEBP). MISS EKID BEAUTY PAGEANT is a cultural and educational event that seeks to celebrate the talent and intellectual abilities of young Eket women of Akwa Ibom State;the aim of this educational event is to reach out to the African Diaspora community and provide a positive space to celebrate our dynamic and rich cultural heritage. 

The MEBP organization aims to bring the best of the young pageant hopefuls such as their goals, their self-confidence, talents, commitment to public service, and their drive for success. The MEBP winner will be a role model and inspiration to the EKET youths in NIGERIA, helping them believe in themselves and in anything and everything is achievable. 

The MEBP organization consist of a young and vibrant team whose mission is to promote the development of an environment that optimizes the potential of the Contestants and to support them develop into responsible adulthood. This event will incorporate live entertainment, guest performers, community leaders, and a gala reception that is geared to entice our very broad spectrum target market consisting of families, entrepreneurs, and business professionals.
